Arthur Herman “Honey” Greenway, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on May 21,2023.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a book collector, history buff and a larger than life man, great friend, brother and father.

He was predeceased in death by his wife, Helen M. Smallwood Greenway and parents, Arthur H. Greenway, Sr. and Mary J. Fisher Greenway and great-great grandson, Lyam B. Hedrick-Crane.

Left to cherish his memory is daughter, Sandra (Stanley) Dunbar; son, Gregory (Brenda) Greenway, foster daughter Phyllis Ann; grandchildren, Katrina (Brent) Hedrick, Selena (Bruce Roberts) Barton, Nicholas, Taylor, Tonia and Jakob Greenway; greatgrandchildren, Alexis, Jayden and Taylor Hedrick and Eli, Peyton, Huntar, Maveryck and  Tynsleigh Barton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Rev. Jason Bennett officiating.  Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke.
