Bettie Brown, 93, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Richfield Health Center in Salem, VA.

Bettie is survived by her son, Richard “Bo” Brown of Vinton, VA; her daughter, Diane Fowler of Atlanta, GA; along with a number of grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Brown, Sr. and by her daughter, Sandra Lynn Chattin.

After graduating from William Fleming High School and Virginia Western, Bettie began a long career in banking until her retirement.

Bettie loved her family and her dear friends at Richfield Retirement in Salem, as well as at Briarcliff Resort Community in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
