Betty Ann Akers Brown, 79 of Roanoke passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.  She was born April 7, 1944 in Roanoke, VA, daughter of the late Ray and Emily Thompson Akers.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude Akers, Curtis Akers, Richard Akers.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Les A. Brown; nieces & nephews; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; many close friends.

Funeral services will be private.
