Brenda Joyce Ensor, 78, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. She was born on March 12, 1945 to the late Lawrence and Hazel Ensor. Brenda was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Ada Mabes and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brenda is survived by many cousins and two lifelong friends, Jenette VonPloennies and Diane Janney Wray.

Brenda retired from Wells Fargo. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1963 and had an Associated Degree from Virginia Western Community College.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Oakey's Downtown Chapel with Pastor Mark Manning officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
