Obituary for Brenda Powers-Sewall (Wimmer)
Brenda Faye Powers-Sewall, 71, of Roanoke, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on July 22, 1950 to the late John Wesley and Mary Alice Wimmer.
She was raised in the area before moving to live in California and Minnesota and returned back to Roanoke about 5 years ago.
She is survived by her son, Mark Bennett Powers (Alice); daughter, Kendra Powers; two grandchildren, Lily and Carter Powers; brother, Steve Wimmer (Jacqueline) and niece, Stacy Wimmer.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
