Charlie Madison Jackson Jr., 91, of Roanoke, Virginia, made a change of address to the Throne of God, on Friday, October 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lula Jackson, and his wife of 72 years, Madeliene Davis Jackson.

Charlie served proudly in the United States Marine Corps in the Korean Conflict. He was a salesman and route driver for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and retired after 30 years of service. Charlie was a member and deacon at the Word of Restoration Ministries Church. He loved his family and spending time with them. Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing, and especially being outdoors.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his sons, Larry Alan Jackson (Lou Thompson) and Keith Madison Jackson (Katherine W. Myers); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Steven W. Pollard officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery in Franklin County, Virginia. The family will receive visitors from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
