Christopher O. (Chris) McGeorge, age 49, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Chris was a fun person to be around and was loved by all who knew him. Chris obtained an Associates Degree from Virginia Western Community College and worked at American Electric Power as a Transmission Station Designer. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved his pet dogs, Red, who preceded him in death and currently Maleah. He also enjoyed working on his Ford Bronco that he has had for some time.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Tenita Trenor; his grandparents, Paul and Geneva Doran and Aubrey and Marie McGeorge; his stepmother, Carol McGeorge; and a sister-in-law, Sheri Moseley.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Kenneth and Gayle McGeorge. His brother, Matthew McGeorge and wife Alicia and their son, Owen. His sister, Angela Booth and husband Brian. His brother, Baron Moseley and his 2 children, Carolyn and Hunter. His stepfather, Mark Trenor and wife Marnee. Also, aunts, uncles, and many other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S.P.C.A. or to Angels of Assisi.
