Darlene Virginia Woodward Neff of Vinton went home to be with the Lord last Sunday, February 19, 2023.  Preceded in death by her parents, William Ashby Woodward III & Doris Leona Patterson.

She worked at WFIR in Roanoke & WWRC in Washington D.C. as a producer for talk shows and also as a private investigator in Virginia.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Tracy A. Neff; sons, Richard Allen Woodward, Christopher Allen Patterson and Leonard Marvin "Leo" Watson III; and step-son, Christopher Alan Neff  and daughter-in law, Jamie Neff and grandchildren Ryleigh & Reagan ; sister, Callie Sue Leona Stinnett & her husband Thomas & family; brother, Paul & her grandchildren, Makeyla, Connor, Jonah & Perseus.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 7 to 9 pm at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.
