David T. White, 71, of Roanoke passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He retired from Norfolk Southern, where he was a Locomotive Engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Thelma White; brothers, Carter White, Wes White.

David is survived by his wife, Leketa White; brother, Stuart White; step-daughter, Amy Lucas; 4 nephews, Ryan, David, Matt and Scott White; special friend and cousin, Roy Beckner.

The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care of David.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the home, 28 Windy Hill Circle Drive, Roanoke, VA 24019. Arrangements by Oakey’s South Chapel. 540-989-3131
