Diane Lynne Bogaty Holdren

1960-2023

On February 22nd, 2023, Diane Lynne Bogaty Holdren, passed with family closely by her side, leaving her life here on earth to be with Jesus in Heaven.  She was embraced by His loving arms and taken to the most glorious place, where she will suffer no more.  Diane gave unselfishly to others for 62 years before reaching her ultimate goal in life, where she can now joyfully walk the streets of gold. She will be reunited with her dear mother, father, sister and many other loved ones, where together they can spread their wings and rejoice.

Diane was born on July 31st, 1960 to the late Dolores and Albert Bogaty of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. She attended Deerlakes High School as well as West Virginia University prior to finding her calling in life. She was a journalist and a Pharmaceutical Representative before building her own successful business as an Interior Designer in Roanoke, VA. Despite her busy work schedule, she was always there for all of her children’s extracurricular activities whether it was football, band, or dance recitals. She never shied away from any challenge, and would move mountains to ensure everyone was always taken care of.  

Diane is survived by her husband, William E. “Chip” Holdren, and her children Trevor (Allison), Hailey (Nicholas), and Lacie. She is also survived by her sister, Denise Smith.

A memorial service will be held at Church of the Holy Spirit in Roanoke, VA on Monday, February 27th at 11:00am.
