Donna Evon Trail Saliba, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, will be remembered as a quiet soul who endeavored to enjoy life despite its tribulations. She was always trying to improve herself. She loved her family.

Donna passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2022. Donna was 61. She was preceded in her journey into the next life by husband Andre Saliba, son Brandon Andre Saliba, and her parents Delmas Jabe Trail and Burnis Marie Trail. We can only trust that they re-unite with joy.

Surviving Donna are her daughter Jessica Saliba Boyer; daughter Jennifer Saliba Bishop, son-in-law Josh Bishop and grandsons Bradley and Walter; daughter Brittany Saliba and granddaughters Sofia Noel and Lily Grace; her devoted siblings Preston Trail, brother-in-law Dennis Guthrie and Regina Trail; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donna was an innately curious person. She was a voracious reader, murder mysteries being her favorite. She enjoyed the many iterations of Law and Order. Donna enjoyed listening to her favorite music and frequently would sing along in the car. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. Family mattered to her.

Donna was born in Radford, VA and grew up in Salem, VA. She graduated in 1979 from Salem High School where she studied Latin and played clarinet in the high school band.

Donna spent many years as a stay-at-home mom, dedicating herself to the care of her son Brandon. She was recently employed by P1 Technologies.

Donna spoke of herself in these terms:

“I am myself always: kind, strong, resilient, confident, fearless. My life has made me who I am: Me!”

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Oakey's South Chapel wiith Pastor James Torrence officiating.The Family will recieved friends one hour prior to service.
