Doris "Peggy" Tate Cobbs, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cabell F. Cobbs; parents, Charles and Doris Tate; brothers, Donald "Corky" Tate, and Robert Tate.

She is survived by her niece, Andrea T. Boland and husband, John; nephew, Donald Tate; great nephews, Michael Boland and William Boland; niece Kathy Cobbs; sister in law Rita Cobbs; and a number of very special nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a proud Hokie (class of '49) and a devoted member of Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
