I met Loraine through my job at a pharmacy where she was a customer and she liked to tease me about my then boyfriend. When that boyfriend became my husband she came to my wedding. Over the years she has shared with me the births of children and grandchildren and we enjoyed telling each other our stories. She is rejoicing now being back with her family where she so wanted to be. She will be missed. Lisa Johnston

I am so sorry to hear of Loraine’s passing and send my condolences to the family. Loraine and my Mom were first cousins. Loraine and I would talk occasionally and I always loved my conversations with her talking about family stories and Christianity. Took my Mom
to visit her a few years back and we went out for breakfast (Loraine’s favorite meal) and spent the day laughing and enjoying each other’s company. She made such an impression on my daughters; they were always asking me about her. She was a lovely person and a pleasure to talk with. She was loved and will be missed.

I met Lorraine when I worked at Sherwood. She was a delight. For many years I enjoyed taking her to lunch and at Christmas we would go to Hotel Roanoke for the buffet breakfast which she really enjoyed. When my father became ill I was unable to take her out as I helped with his care. She loved her family and I know she missed her sons and husband immensely! Today she is now rejoicing with them! Thank you Lorraine for the many years of friendship!!
