Evelyn Walker Shelor, 95, of Roanoke, Va. Went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

She was born on November 15, 1927, to the late Edward and Pearl Walker of Buchanan, Va. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Frances Shelor; her precious son, Barry Shelor; and her siblings, William Walker, Genevieve Shamlin and Jacqueline McGavock.

Evelyn retired from Elizabeth Arden after 30 years of service.

Surviving is her daughter, Deborah Shelor Bohon (Keith); son, Rick Shelor (Julie); three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Jeremy Breaux officiating. Entombment will be private. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the Mausoleum.
