Fallon Ray Arthur, Sr, 85, of Roanoke, VA went to his eternal home on January 5th, 2023 surrounded by his family.

Fallon served 7 years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate Petty Officer Third Class for the ZSG-4 airship.

Fallon’s faith was essential part of his life. He deeply loved the Lord and enjoyed having the Bible read to him. Fallon enjoyed every second that he could with his family. He enjoyed spending his time at Smith Mountain Lake at the Blueridge Campground. He loved going fishing on the lake in his pontoon. He loved to cook and was always cooking something up for his family. He loved going hunting with his sons, son-in-law and grandkids. The Great 611 Steak Company was his go to place for a great meal. The liver and onions paired with a long island were his favorite. Many of the employees there became like family to him over the years. He was amazing at playing the harmonica, he could really play the spoons and he could out flatfoot just about anyone. He was dearly loved by so many, and he will be deeply missed.

Fallon was greeted in heaven by his wife, Maxine Arthur; long time special companion, Pauline Arnold;

parents, Ernest and Ruth Arthur; brother, Gene Arthur; sister, Rena Huff.

He is survived by his sons, Ray Arthur (Cami), Reggie Arthur (Tiffany); Jamey Arthur; Daughter, Kimberly Wells (Darrell); Grandchildren Travis Arthur (Amy), Brooks Arthur (Meagan), Brittany Wheeler (Jeremy), Nick Wells (Morgan), April Swiam (Tony), Trish Myers (Chris), Jamilee Arthur and Reggie Arthur, II; 21 great -grandchildren; 3 great- great-grandchildren; Special niece, Lori Lyle; Brother, Doug Arthur (Dawn); Sisters, Bonnie Keith and Nadine Stewart.

A special thank you from all of us to the amazing team at Choice Healthcare-Roanoke for the amazing care they provided during his stay there. Their love, care and compassion helped to get him back home. A deep felt thank you to Dr. Williams and Dr. Keeley for going above and beyond in the care they provided. Fallon loved you both dearly.

A celebration of life will be held January 21, 2023 at 11:00 in the morning at Living Well Church-Salem, 4335 West Main Street, Salem, VA 24153 with Pastor Stephen Parker officiating.
