Faye J. Brown, 84, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Heck and Ruby McCray.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Wendell F. Brown; daughters, Debbie Smith (Bobby), Sheila Lancaster (Brian), Sandy Brown, Pamela Cundiff (David), Tanya Kidman; grandchildren, Shane Brown (Jolene), Rachael Consagra (Preston), Caroline Austin (Payton), Erika Cundiff, Madeline Kidman and Nathan Kidman; great-grandchildren, Owen Harrison and Hazel Brown; brother, Joey McCray (Kathy) and her wonderful fur babies, Ginger, Charlie, Molly and Sookie.

Faye was a lifelong and dedicated New York Yankees fan! She loved watching soap operas, the Hallmark Channel, and the Game Show Network, especially Steve Harvey and Michael Strahan. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment spent with them and with her fur babies.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel, with Eric Gutierrez officiating. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the start of the service.
