Frances D. Cook, 91, of Fincastle, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Cook; daughter, Paula Cook; and son, Del Schechterly.  Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Jennie Cook; grandson, Steven Cook and wife, Virginia; granddaughter, Molly Korzep and husband, Dave; and future great grandson, baby Cook, to arrive June 15, 2023.

She was a longtime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and loved her Church Family there.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Melanie Franklin officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oakey’s East Chapel.
