Franklin Roger Hall, 75, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jessie T. Hall and Lena Hall; and beloved dog, Floppy.

Left to cherish many fond memories with Franklin are his wife of 54 years, Ruth B. Hall; daughers, Mary Hall Thomason (Franklin) and Wendy G. Hall (John); brothers, Bobbie Hall and Willard Hall; sisters, Germaine Hall and Sylvia Boitnott; grandchildren, Kyra, Christian, Karissa (Brandon), Hali, Tiffany (Ryan), Ashleigh (Tyler), and Sequoia; great-grandchildren, Brice, Lacy, Dixie, Mason, Calum, Carter, and Augusten; special furry friend, Daisy; and loving friends, Dennis and Tammy Caldwell.

Franklin enjoyed hunting and fishing and took great pleasure in spending quality time with his family. He retired from Roanoke Electric Steel after 38 years of service.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.

Dad, I miss you so much it drives me crazy,
Thank you for showing and taught me the things I know.
I will always remember the words you told me when I would say no I can't, because told me.... remember yes you can

Dad I love you more than life itself. I miss you so much. I'm glad you're no longer suffering but life without you here on earth is going to be so hard but we know you're free and peaceful.. Fly high dad and rest in paradise.. I hope you're waiting at the pearly gates for me when it's my turn..I love you
