Frederick Thomas “Tom” Koogler, 89, of Hot Springs, VA formerly of Roanoke passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born in Virginia on August 30, 1933 to the late Fred C. and Ruth H. Koogler.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Delores T. Koogler; brothers-in-law, Robert Tolley, Jr. (Wendy Tackett), and R. Timothy Tolley and his wife, Carrie and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom graduated from Jefferson High School in 1952. Shortly after graduating, he attended Randolph Macon College eventually graduating from National Business College. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Double Envelope Corporation. Tom was also an avid UVA fan.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Oakey’s North Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May13, 2023 at the Evergreen Burial Park Chapel of Light with entombment following the service.
