Georgia Anne (Jan) Viliborghi, 78, of Roanoke, Virginia, went to her heavenly home on 07/07/2022, welcomed by her beloved husband, Thomas R. Viliborghi Sr., on his 80th birthday and by her precious granddaughter, Reanna Lindsey Viliborghi. Jan was a giving woman who put the needs of others before her own. She never gave up and expected the same from us. She had a natural gift to nurture, help, guide and care for anyone that needed her. She was cherished as a wife, mother, grandmother and “adopted” granny to many and will be greatly missed. Jan made lifelong friendships and will be remembered as one who put the love of the Lord and her family first. She was the personification of “You may be the only Bible someone may ever read”. Her memory will live on in the lives of her family and friends who will continue to be inspired by the way she lived her life. Surviving are her five children, daughter, Cheryl Denise Cunningham (Joe); daughter, Deborah Jean Underwood (Greg); son, Thomas R. Viliborghi Jr (Jenn); daughter, Christa Anne Viliborghi; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Rose (Don); daughter, Rolanda Viliborghi; sister, Frances McCoy (John); cousin, Fred Joseph (Carol) and brother-in-law, Andy Viliborghi. She was a loving and devoted Granny to her surviving grandchildren, Seth Thomas Wesley Viliborghi (Cassey); Taylor Conrad Underwood (Shadow); Emily Catherine Viliborghi (Kyle); Charlotte Grace Rose and Sarah Jane Cunningham (Rob); great-grandson, Noah Seth Thomas. Jan also leaves behind her beloved dog and constant companion, Maela. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Friday, July 15th at Oakey’s Downtown Chapel (540) 982-2100 with Pastor Jim Rivers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in the Belvedere Gardens Mausoleum in Sherwood Memorial Park.
