Gloria Ann “Mamaw” Sink, 74, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born in Virginia on October 27, 1948 to the late Harold J. and Gloria Tyree Richards. Gloria was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Richards and her granddaughter, Kayla Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 54 years, Wayne Sink; children, Jeff Sink (Julie), Denise Jones (Jeff), Tim Sink (Melissa) and Greg Sink (Megan); grandchildren, Erica, Riley, Adam, Carson, Jayda and Ayden; nephews and niece, Billy Craighead, Sam Craighead and Sarah Richards and sisters-in-law, Gail Craighead and Lois Richards.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Vinton Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Sherwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the Vinton Baptist Church Food Pantry 219 E. Washington Ave, Vinton VA 24179.
