Obituary for Jack Smith
Jack Larry Smith, age 65, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 after an eight year battle with cancer.
Jack enjoyed wrestling, games, going onto Facebook, and throughout his life, he loved to work.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Susie Smith; 2 brothers, Jerry and Billy; and four sisters, Frances, Betty, Wilma, and Lola.
Jack is survived by a sister, Janice Hicks and her husband Randy, his brother, Ricky Smith and his wife Barbara. He was also a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews including a close nephew, Robert Smith. Also surviving are many extended relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.
His family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
