Obituary for Janet Clayton
Janet S Clayton 75, of Roanoke, passed away June 4, 2020.
Janet was born on March 6, 1945 in Buffalo, NY to the late Richard Arthur and Helen Seitz. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Stephen Christopher Clayton(Michele) and Jamie Todd Clayton(Cynthia); grandchildren Cole, Adam, Brooke and Cori; sister Karen Twilla(Fred); brother Kevin Seitz(Patricia); many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend Myra Huey.
Janet was a longtime loyal employee of HopeTree Family Services where she retired in 2014 as Director of Development. She loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Service celebrating Janet's life will be held at 2:00 on thursday, June 11, 2020 at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Rev. Whitney Burton-Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers the family encourages friends to make a contribution in Janet's honor to South Roanoke Nursing home or Good Samaritan Hospice. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
