Jeffrey Len Bush, 65, of Vinton, Virginia, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 2, 2022.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia V. Bush, daughters Katie Hetherington and husband Curt; Kendra Mullen and husband Jared; five precious grandchildren, Kenleigh, Chloe, Ellouise, Hank Jeffrey, and Rory; sisters, Patti Childers and husband Will, Cindy Weikel and husband Dwayne, sister-in-law, Sharon McGowan and husband Mike; brother-in-law Randall Via and wife Fran; mother-in-law Nancy Droste; and numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who are like family. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Bush and mother, Kathryn Bush.
Jeff was born in Roanoke, Virginia and graduated from William Byrd High School. He attended Virginia Western Community College and Ferrum College. He worked as a warehouse manager for Kroger/Atlas Logistics for over 40 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodwork, remote-control airplanes, airshows, and retirement. He was actively involved in his church, bible study, volunteering at the D-Day memorial and helping veterans. He was passionate about family and sharing the gospel. His life goal was to have a legacy of leading people to Jesus.
Please join the family for visitation on Monday, January 10th from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. The celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, January 11th at 2:00 at Fellowship Community Church in Salem, Virginia. Graveside service to follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
