Jerome Anthony Moses Jr., 63, of Roanoke, VA passed away from a short battle with cancer on Monday, February 27, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 21, 1959, in Roanoke, VA to the late Jerome Anthony Moses Sr. and Karola Lena Moses (nee Kharl).

He is survived by his children, Carlin Darnell, Aaron Johnson, Alexis Kelley (Jacob Kelley), and Alyssa Moses; his grandchildren, Ava, Audrey, and Alayna; his sister, Rosita Gibson and friend, Kellie Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

He worked hard for years as a carpenter and had a passion for working on cars. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his kids and grandkids.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 3, 2023, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Kevin Segerblom officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.Oakeys.com.
