John Sutor (A.K.A. The Eye In the Sky), 71, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Betsy Sutor.

John was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a retired Roanoke City Police Officer. He loved America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Campbell; his daughter, Kacie Manning and his son-in-law, Scott Manning; grandchildren, Logan Sheetz, Lauren Sheetz, Drew Yopp, and Karter Yopp; his sisters, Suzanne LaPlace and Lucinda Reynolds and brother-in-law, Reggie Reynolds.

John had many friends and family help out during this trying time. A special thanks to Cindy and Todd, Brenda and Donnie, and Danny.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Oakey's North Chapel with Chaplain Tammy Jaffe officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
