Obituary for Loraine "Lori" Wilhelm (White)
Loraine “Lori” White Wilhelm, 91, of Roanoke passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1929 to Henry White and Clara Lovern White. Loraine was raised in Salem, Virginia and preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorothy Neal; and brothers, Roy and Woodrow White.
Lori was known as a strong and independent woman with a fiery spirit. She was small in stature but could be tough as nails. Loraine loved working in her garden, taking care of her plants and doing yardwork. She also enjoyed decorating and shopping. Loraine is survived by her children, Katrina Mabery and Donovan Mabery; and by her beloved nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem with Rev. Donna Hopkins Britt officiating.
