~Louise McMinn Buerdsell, 83, of Thaxton, VA. passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl A. and Gertrude B. McMinn, and her husband of 33 years, Frank Buerdsell Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Louise Fuhrken, her stepdaughter, Kim Walls, her siblings Carole E. McMinn, Earl C. McMinn (Bonnie McMinn), Janet Herner (Mark Herner), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

Louise was born at home in Chester, PA on February 2, 1939. She graduated from Towanda High School in 1956 and obtained an Associate's degree from Goldey Beacom College in 1958. She worked for Sun Oil Company for over 30 years, starting out as a secretary and retiring from Customer Service in the early 1990s. 

Louise had a lifelong passion for loving and caring for her many dogs, especially seniors and special needs, and her reunion with them at the Rainbow Bridge will be one of great joy.
