Marcianne “Marci” Boone, 60, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, surrounded by her family and close friends.

Marci was born on August 23, 1962, to Polly and Leon Boone. She grew up in Martinsville, Virginia and later moved to Roanoke where she graduated from Patrick Henry High School. While working at Blue Ridge Independent Center, she met her love, Ben, and they married on May 30, 1998. Together they worked to build their business of renovating homes.

Marci lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends, interior design, and caring for her dogs, Brody and Kye. She cared deeply for the people around her and made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed.

Marci is survived by her husband, Ben; mother, Polly; brother, John; niece, Emily (Daniel); and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering from 6 until 8 pm on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 1622 Red Oak Lane, Roanoke, VA 24018.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Angels of Assisi in her honor.
