Obituary for Marylouise Burton (Brown)
Marylouise Burton of Salem, VA went to sleep on Monday, November 1, 2021. Mary was born on March 26, 1942 in St. Mary’s, PA moving to Roanoke in 1963. She made her home in Salem since 1979. Mary, a widow of Vietnam casualty, Luther William Burton, retired from the VA Medical Center in 1997. She attended Virginia Wester Community College in its early days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther William Burton; son, David Hutton, Jr.; mother, Lois A. Brown; father, Guy A. Brown, Jr.; foster mother, Nadine McClanahan; two sisters, Jeannette and Anna; one brother, Gray; son-in-law, Ed Trujillo.
She is survived by her brother, Barry Brown (Donna); sister, Peggy Schneider (Carl) both of PA; daughter, Monica Trujillo; three grandchildren, Ed Trujillo, David Hutton, III and Kisha Gurganious; two great-grandchildren, Eric & Ethan Gurganious, all of Roanoke, VA. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday November 4, 2021. Arrangements by Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.
