Michael G. Bednarek, 72, of Cloverdale, joined his Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.  He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from St. Mary’s College in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was the son of the late Gordon G. and Mildred Bednarek and retired from the U. S. Air Force as MSGT after 20 years of service.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Kathleen Bednarek; two sons and one daughter, Cary (Jennifer) Bednarek, Jamie (April) Bednarek, Alysia (Michael) Upchurch; four grandchildren, Madison and Fletcher Crawford, Emma Bednarek, Quinn Upchurch; brother-in-law, Michael (Paula) Berkhahn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Oakey’s East Chapel with Military Honors by the U. S. Air Force.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior to the funeral.
