Mrs. Brobst was the business manager and accountant for Dr. Brobst’s solo medical practice, and later for the partnership of Doctors Brobst and Kang, until Dr. Brobst’s retirement in 1992.

Mrs. Brobst is survived by a daughter, Karen L. Brobst, Chicago; a son, Jonathan T. Brobst, Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; a granddaughter, Shiera S. Malik, and two grandsons, Sati S. Malik and Samil S. Malik, all of Chicago. Mrs. Brobst was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Henry T. Brobst, M.D., and by a grandson, Tombol S. Malik.

The family thanks the medical staff at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, especially to the loving nurses for the excellent communication they gave to the family during Mrs. Brobst’s illness. The family also thanks the rescue squad of the Roanoke Valley Emergency Services for their first-rate care.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the rescue squad of the Roanoke Valley Emergency Services at P. O Box 1830, Roanoke, Virginia 24008 or at https://www.roanokeems.org/.
