Patricia “Pat” Brown Henegar, 61, of Vinton, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Ferguson, Sr.; and her sister, Melissa Ferguson.

Pat is survived by her husband, Eddie Henegar; mother, Patricia Ferguson; sons, Kenny Brown, Donald Brown, and Matthew Jackson; step-sons, Eric Henegar and Ray Henegar; special grandson, Hunter Jackson; granddaughters, Lillian and Layla Jackson, and Summer Brown; brothers, Jimmy Ferguson, Earl Ferguson, Carson Ferguson and Billy Ferguson; sister, Linda Ferguson; special friends Cliff Mattox and Eva Elkins; and her cat, Little Bit.

A celebrations of Pat’s life will be held at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:00am, with Pastor T.G. Ayers officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm –  8:00 pm. Burial will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
