Ralph Charles Burchett, 82, of Roanoke, died of heart failure on Thursday, December 29, 2022.  Ralph was born on July 1, 1940 in Jonesville, VA and attended Flatwoods High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Burchett and Edith H. Burchett and his older sister, Marilyn B. Myers. 

He had lived the majority of his life in Roanoke where he worked in car and truck sales.  Ralph loved spending time outdoors in nature with family and friends, therefore, in lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Virginia Outdoors Foundation, 39 Garrett Street, Suite 200, Warrenton, VA  20186 in his memory.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey C. Burchett and wife, Marieke A. Burchett; his three grandchildren, Dashiell, Matilda and Ashton.

Plans for a memorial service have not been completed and will be announced later.
