In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 16, 2023, Lucy, his loving wife released her loving hands of Mr. Richard Lee Cruise, of Moneta, Virginia into the hands of his Lord and Savior at the age of 80.

Richard will be forever missed by his loving wife, Lucille “Lucy” Cruise; son, Allen (Elizabeth) Cruise granddaughter, Natosha (Ronald) France; grandson, Dakota (Kaylee) Cruise; great grandchildren, Penelope France and Spencer Frances; sister, Carol Simmons, Sandy (Richard) Carr, and Judy (Barry) Leitch.

At Richard’s request, there will not be any services held. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to Men’s Challenge of the Smokies, P.O. box 2157 Franklin, NC 28734 in Richard’s memory.
