Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Nurse. Rita was a woman of deep faith and a shining light of love and positivity to all whom she met. She will be deeply missed by her seven children, fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren along with their significant others. She had one surviving sibling and many extended relatives.

Rita was born and raised in Queens, NY and met and married the love of her life, Carl, while serving in the Air Force in Texas. The young couple went on to spend most of their lives in Roanoke.

We are thankful for her wonderful healthy ninety-two years and are so glad that she is now with her Lord. Memorial Mass will be held on June 26 at 11am at Our Lady of Nazareth Church with a private family interment to follow.
