Robert (Bob) Leech Morrison, Jr., 82, of Fincastle, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023.  Bob attended First Church of Christ, Scientist.  He was a member of Boone Masonic Lodge No. 247, and the Roanoke Valley Antique Car Club.  Bob was the owner of Bob Morrison Oil Company for many years then later drove for APB Whiting Oil Company.  He was currently employed at Fisher Auto Parts. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leech Morrison, Sr. and Opal McClure Morrison; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred E. and Edith Jones; and brother-in-law, Freddie Jones.  He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rebecca Jones Morrison; and nephew, Edward Alvin Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Oakey’s East Chapel with Pastor J. R. Graybill and Robert Peters officiating followed by Masonic Rites by Boone Masonic Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a church or your favorite charity.

A private graveside service was held at Glade Creek Cemetery.
