Obituary for Robert Nolan
Robert Bernard Nolan, 85, of Roanoke, Va., passed away Friday, November 12, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Evelyn Nolan, and he is survived by his wife, Rochelle S. Nolan; son, Alexander Alan Nolan; daughter, Sandra Nolan Nesbit and her husband, Steven; and grand-daughters, Caroline Jordan Nesbit and Paige Riley Nesbit. He is survived also by a sister, Judith Carol Nolan, and a brother, James R. Nolan and his wife, Sylvia.
Bob was an alumnus of the Mercersburg Academy and Duke University, and he was the Chairman of Old Colony Box Company. He was a member and a past President of Temple Emanuel Congregation.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Temple Emanuel Cemetery. Arrangements by Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel.
