Obituary for Robert "Bob" Spradlin Sr.
Robert Daniel “Bob” Spradlin Sr., 79, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 21, 2022.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jennifer Beyers, and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Beyers.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Ginny (Scott) Santolla of Roanoke, and grandson, Zack (Ashlie) Santolla of Charleston, W.Va.; his son, Bobby (Sherry) Spradlin of Vinton, and granddaughter, Ashley Spradlin; great-grandsons, Lochlan and Montgomery Campbell, all of Roanoke; his sister, Dorothy Stinson of Charlestown, Ind.; many nieces and nephews; and special friends that he made throughout his life.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and spent his life working as a heavy equipment mechanic and operator. He loved hunting, fishing, and taking trips in his RV.
The family would like to thank his special nephew and wife, Steve and Vickie, for the years of friendship, kindness and good times that really meant a lot to him.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel - Downtown. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Alan Clark officiating.
