Roberta “Bert” Sarver Craig, 92, of Vinton, Virginia, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.

She was born on August 10, 1930, to the late Paris  and Iona Sarver. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James T. “Buddy” Craig, and many sisters and brothers.

Surviving is her son, James Burt Craig (Sharon); daughter, Jamie Craig Lamb; three grandsons, Brian Craig, Tripp Lamb (Marianne), and Jesse Lamb (Brittany); Great Grandchildren, Kaydence, Kaleb, Kason, Kaylee,Emma, Beau, Lake, Reagan, and Elianne; brother-in-law, Billy Painter; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the funeral home.
