Robin R. Reynolds, age 76, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022. She was born July 29, 1945 in North Carolina to Ira Roscoe Reeves “Roscoe” and Elizabeth Parker Reeves “Betty”. The family moved to Roanoke when Robin was 13. She met her husband, Vincent Reynolds, while at William Byrd High School. She went on to study art at Virginia Commonwealth University. The couple married in 1969. They settled in Vinton and had two children, Jenny and Mark Reynolds. Robin worked as a commercial artist for Heironimus Department Store as well as Advertising Director for Stephenson and Aldridge Furniture Company. She was an active member at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church in downtown Roanoke. She and Vincent were founders of the crib ministry at Greene Memorial.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Reeves and his wife Sandy, and their children, as well as Jenny and Mark and Mark’s wife, Tricia, and all of their children who were Robin and Vincent’s grandchildren: Elizabeth, Sydney, Will, and Gabriel.
A Graveside Inurnment Service will be held at 9 am on Friday, August 5, 2022 in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the crib ministry at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church.
