Ruby Frances Wilkinson Luckado, known as “Frances,” 101, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was the widow of Edward Cleveland Luckado.

She was born on January 11, 1922, to the late Thomas Monroe Wilkinson,Sr. and Ruby Maggie Garst Wilkinson.

Frances was also preceded in death by her sister, Ann Elizabeth Wilkinson and her brother, Thomas M. Wilkinson Jr.

Surviving is her sister, Barbara B. Croy; her daughters, Rebecca Luckado Stein (Edward) and Debra Kay Luckado; her grandson, David H. Stein of Norwich, CT; and her great-granddaughter, Jordon G. Stein.

Frances retired from Miller & Rhoads and E.I. Randel.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Evergreen Burial Park with Pastor Nelson Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Oakey’s South Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.Oakeys.com.
