She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Edwin Lucas.
She is survived by her children, Sue Ellen Lucas (Maureen Deane), Mary Margaret Lucas (Stephen Echols), Robert Edwin Lucas, Jr. (Ginger Walker), grandchildren Sally Godsey (Blair), Collins Flippin, and three great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the columbarium of Christ Episcopal Church.
