Jennifer and John and families, My sympathy in the passing of Sarah. I have fond memories of visits between our families at her home in Charleston and at our farm. I know she enjoyed her work at Camp Bethel; we were always treated to a sweet dessert when we visited. I remember her love for crafts, antiques and family history. She is now enjoying a reunion with all who have gone before. Blessings, Paula Long Thompson

My condolences to the family. Sarah was a first cousin of my mother, Norma Jane Bowles Parsell, and second cousin of mine. She and my mother grew up like sisters and confidants. All throughout their years Sarah would call mother and share all the big events going on in life. As children they played together and spent many a night together and visited their Mom Maw, Georgianna Monday. When I was young and stayed some with her Aunt, Frances Niday Bowles, her Dad, my Uncle Clayton Stickley, would give me tractor rides. I even spent the night in Sarah's room once after Sarah married. The one word that describes Sarah is grace. Like her mother, my Aunt Thelma, Sarah was full of grace. She was a lady and Christian, quiet and loved her dog and flowers. She was a good daughter, sister, cousin, wife, mother, and friend, and my family will dearly miss her. Love, second cousin Felecia Parsell
