Obituary for Susan "Suzie" Grinnan
Susan “Suzie” Dawn Barton Grinnan, 61 of Salem, Virginia, was called home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Suzie is preceded in death by her father Lilburn Gene Barton and brother Phillip Barton.
Survived by husband Kenny Grinnan and daughters Ashleigh and Micheala, whom she loved dearly; mother Nancy Beach and husband Corbin; sister Vicki Minnix and husband Dennis; brother Brian Barton and wife Sondra; brother Randy Barton; sister-in-law Mollie; and brother Chris Barton.
Suzie is also survived by family members Jessica Adams and husband Terry, Nathan Minnix and wife Angie, Lindsey Barton, Haley Barton, Emily Barton, Keller and Hunter Barton, and Gage Keith.
Suzie loved all of her animals very much. She is now with her Lord and savior with no pain, dancing in the sky. We can only imagine the joy she felt when she embraced her big brother Phil. She was one of the strongest and most amazing women that ever walked this world.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 1pm at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem VA with Pastor Jay Richards officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 6-8pm at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel.
