Wilbur “Junior” Lynch, Jr., 96, of Vinton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023. He was born in Bedford County, son of the late Wilbur Lynch, Sr. and Mora Lynch.

Wilbur was a lifelong member of Emmaus United Methodist Church in Moneta; a member of Beaverdam Lodge #248. He worked many years for the  USPS until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 68 years, Doris Rudder Lynch.  He is survived by his brother, Wesley Lynch (Gloria) and several nieces and nephews including special nephew, Donnie Lantz and great niece and great-nephews.

The visitation will be at 11:00 am on Monday, Feb 27,2023 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with a graveside to follow at noon at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Tina Yates officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it was his wish that memorials be made to Emmaus United Methodist Church c/o Brenda Watson, 2135 Mead Valley Rd., Moneta, VA 24121.
